Description
Orientation-selective building detection in aerial images:
a novel, orientation feature is introduced for building outline detection without using any shape template or any outline restriction.
Flying object extraction utility: Detection is based on fast and robust background
modeling and shape extraction, while recognition of target classes is based on shape and texture fused querying on a-priori built real datasets.
Improved Harris feature point set for orientation
sensitive urban area detection in aerial images: introducing a novel feature point set and applies orientation as a novel feature for detection.
Harris function based active contour external force for image
segmentation: introduces Modified Harris for Edges and Corners (MHEC) for salient object detection and embeds it's characteristic function into the external force field for more efficent parametric active contour detection for
high curvature, noisy boundary parts.
